Hello
Anwen Edwards
About Me
Helo, Anwen ydw i. Rwy'n fyfyriwr cwnsela dwyieithog (Cymraeg/Saesneg) ac yn aelod o’r BACP sy’n gweithio o fewn eu fframwaith moesegol.
Rwy’n gwrando’n astud, heb farnu, gyda gwir empathi a pharch. Fy mlaenoriaeth yw rhoi chi - y person - wrth galon y sgwrs, gan eich cefnogi i fynd i’r afael â’r hyn sy’n pwyso ar eich meddwl, yn eich ffordd eich hun ac ar eich cyflymder eich hun.
Mae gen i bron i 30 mlynedd o brofiad ym myd addysg, gan gynnwys gwaith bugeiliol fel pennaeth blwyddyn. Cefnogi myfyrwyr a chydweithwyr trwy amryw o heriau fu’n rhan annatod o’m rôl, gan wreiddio fy niddordeb mewn cwnsela. Rwy’n chwilfrydig am sut rydyn ni’n gofalu am ein lles meddyliol, ac rwy’n ymarferydd Cymorth Cyntaf Iechyd Meddwl.
Yn fy amser hamdden, rwy’n arwain côr sy’n canolbwyntio ar les trwy rym cerddoriaeth. Sefydlais grŵp cefnogaeth canser, ac rwy’n loncian — neu, yn hytrach, plodio’n araf!
Edrychaf ymlaen at eich croesawu a bod yn rhan o’r daith unigryw ac arbennig hon.

Hi, I'm Anwen. I'm a bilingual student counsellor (Welsh/English) and a member of the BACP working within their ethical framework.
I listen attentively, without judgment, with genuine empathy and respect. My priority is to place you — the person — at the heart of the conversation, supporting you to address what's happening inside your mind, in your way and at your own pace.
With nearly 30 years of experience in education, including pastoral leadership as a head of year, I have supported students and colleagues through various challenges, which has deepened my interest in counselling. I’m curious about how we care for our mental wellbeing, and I’m a certified Mental Health First Aider.
In my spare time, I conduct a choir that focuses on wellbeing through the power of music. I established a cancer support group and enjoy jogging — or, instead, plodding along slowly!
I look forward to welcoming you and being part of your unique and memorable journey.
