They often work with those who feel a tension between what the outside world expects of them, and their true, natural way of being. For example, she frequently works with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent or highly sensitive individuals, or those experiencing self-esteem issues; offering an accepting and affirmative atmosphere (including Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity training & experience). With a deepening expertise in relationship and intimacy counselling, alongside tending grief and loss of all kinds – Sarah brings diverse therapeutic approaches into their client work. They prioritise building a collaborative, warm, accepting and empowering relationship with their clients.

Sarah has training in and is influenced by: trauma-informed approaches, person-centred counselling, psychodynamic approaches and depth psychology, Buddhist mindfulness and guided meditation, and somatic (body-based) practices for managing and understanding distress and emotional intensity.

They are currently developing their practice with therapeutic group work and nature connection practices; running retreats and workshops. Sarah has a passion for facilitating community relationships through healing and respect for the land and each other. In their free time they love to travel, hike, tend a wildlife-friendly garden and enjoy writing and yoga.
