Hello
Fatima Grzesiak
About Me
Hello, my name is Fatima. I’m a trainee counsellor with a passion for therapeutic work. I offera warm, safe environment where you can feel understood and valued.
I use a Person-Centred Approach, focusing on building a positive, supportive relationship
where you can explore your inner world. Using a non-directive approach, I support you in
exploring your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, in a space free from judgment.
I bring over 20 years of experience in supportive roles across the charity and public sectors,
including work as a social worker and probation officer. These roles deepened my
commitment to helping others and inspired me to begin my training in counselling.
I hold an MSc in Psychology and an MA in Social Work. I’m also a practitioner of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a gentle method using tapping to help release emotional blocks.
I have a growing interest in holistic approaches that support the mind–body connection.
Originally from Poland, I consider myself a migrant. My own experiences of change and
transition have given me a deeper empathy for life’s uncertainties. I’ve worked in equality-
focused organisations, delivering anti-racism and diversity training, and I connect well with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
I’m a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
and work within its Ethical Framework. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS.
Speaking fluent English and Polish, I can offer sessions in both languages.
