About Me

Hi, I’m Lucy, a person-centred, trauma-informed counsellor with extensive experience in supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and experiences. Within a warm, confidential, and secure therapeutic relationship, you can feel safe to discuss your concerns. My approach is collaborative and adaptable, tailored to meet each person’s unique needs and goals.

I work with clients face-to-face, online, or over the phone, offering flexibility and accessibility to those seeking support. My goal is to empower individuals to navigate their journey toward healing, growth, and resilience within a safe and supportive environment.

As a member of the BACP, I adhere to their ethical standards and guidelines, ensuring a safe and professional practice. My training equips me to address a broad range of concerns, including managing anxiety and depression, reducing stress, enhancing emotional well-being, recovering from abuse and trauma, strengthening relationships, exploring identity, boosting self-esteem, navigating life transitions, and discovering purpose and meaning. A significant portion of my work has been dedicated to supporting clients who have experienced various forms of sexual violence, including childhood sexual abuse.

While I’ve outlined areas where I can offer support, I understand that life’s challenges rarely fit neatly into predefined categories. Each person’s experience is unique, with different aspects of life often intertwining in unexpected ways.
